Technical Project Manager
The Technical Project Manager is the connective tissue across Immense Studio's technical delivery. This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and driving the successful end-to-end execution of platform and integration projects.
Working across engineering, product, QA, and external partners, this role brings structure, visibility, and momentum to complex, multi-workstream initiatives. The ideal candidate is people-focused and highly organised, with the communication skills to align diverse stakeholders and the tenacity to keep projects moving even when the path ahead is unclear.
- Own the planning, coordination, and delivery of assigned technical projects - including casino operator integrations, platform feature rollouts, and partner onboarding initiatives.
- Define and maintain clear project plans, tracking progress against milestones and proactively managing risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies, and decisions in a structured and transparent manner.
- Drive day-to-day project momentum, removing blockers, facilitating decision-making, and ensuring all workstreams remain on track.
- Conduct regular cross-functional team meetings to review progress, surface issues early, and maintain shared accountability for delivery outcomes.
- Serve as the central point of coordination between internal engineering teams, Technical Product Owners, business stakeholders, and external partners - ensuring everyone has the visibility and clarity they need.
- Communicate project status, risks, and timeline updates to stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership, in a clear and timely manner.
- Support partner and supplier management in collaboration with Technical Product Owners, ensuring external dependencies are well-managed and aligned with delivery timelines.
- Establish and maintain appropriate governance and oversight for each assigned project, ensuring decisions are documented, change is controlled, and delivery is accountable.
- Translate requirements and feedback from multiple sources into clearly defined user stories with detailed acceptance criteria, facilitating effective hand-off to engineering teams.
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve delivery processes, tooling, and ways of working across the technical teams - and take the initiative to implement them.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager or delivery lead within a technology or software development environment, with a track record of managing technical projects end-to-end. (required)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills - people-centric by nature, comfortable engaging at all levels of the organisation including senior leadership. (required)
- Excellent time management and prioritisation skills, with the discipline to focus effort where it delivers the most value. (required)
- Solid written and verbal communication skills in English. (required)
- Confident facilitator and influencer, able to align distributed, cross-functional teams around shared goals and maintain momentum through ambiguity. (required)
- Highly organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects without losing sight of the details that matter. (required)
- Experience working within an iGaming, platform, or game studio environment, with exposure to casino operator integrations or B2B technical delivery. (nice-to-have)
- Proficiency with Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence) for project tracking and documentation. (nice-to-have)
- Familiarity with agile delivery frameworks and experience working alongside scrum or kanban teams. (nice-to-have)
- Formal project management qualification (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent). (nice-to-have)
