Description

As a Live Trader, the individual will actively manage and oversee live betting events, maintaining a consistently high standard of product quality and overall offering. This role demands a sharp focus on risk control, monitoring real-time data and making fast, informed decisions to mitigate risk as events unfold.

The Live Trader will play a key role in driving the sportsbook KPIs of LeoVegas, contributing to odds optimisation, ensuring competitive offerings, and enhancing the overall customer betting experience. The ideal candidate will balance product excellence, profitability, and customer satisfaction while thriving in the fast-paced environment of live events. As the schedule follows the live global sports calendar, this role requires working non-traditional shifts, including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities
  • Ensuring live odds are in line with the industry and risk managed accordingly.
  • Ensuring quick and correct evaluation of the markets.
  • Having a deep understanding of each sport offered.
  • Solving problems, contingencies and issues in the quickest way with minimal interruptions.
  • Monitoring real-time events, including identifying and reporting suspicious betting behaviours.
  • Helping in the data collection for the competitor analysis project and in other tasks or projects assigned by the Bookmaking strategy team.
  • Assisting in testing of new betting features in back office and Third-Party Providers.

  • Ability to maintain exceptional focus in a desk-based, real-time environment, making data-driven decisions on the fly (nice-to-have)
  • A desire to work in the betting industry, an adaptable approach to diverse team dynamics, and excellent listening skills (nice-to-have)
