Senior Backend Engineer - Payments Domain
The platform domain is the foundation of LeoVegas. Contributing to build the best solutions possible to create the best iGaming experience.
The role involves building tooling for the developer pipeline delivering more streamlined and secure flows.
Join the Payments Team, responsible for building payments gateway solutions, as well as robust and fast integrations with global payment providers to handle monetary transfers in and out of the platform.
- Design and develop the platform architecture that supports business-critical systems.
- Testing (unit tests) and updating documentation.
- Participating in architectural discussions and suggesting ideas for technical improvements.
- Collaborate with other developers, architects, and stakeholders to ensure that the platform meets the needs of the business.
- Take part in the decision-making process on building the platform.
- Min. 7 years of experience in using Java + Spring Boot framework (required)
- Experience with MySQL and Kafka (required)
- Familiarity with microservice architecture (required)
- Being not only a developer but primarily a software engineer - you love taking ownership of delivered solutions from their design to implementation (required)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of articulating technical decisions and offering valuable recommendations to the team (required)
- Fluent English (C1 level is a minimum, as we communicate mostly in English) (required)
- Experience with Kotlin (nice-to-have)
- Experience in building applications for payments industry (nice-to-have)
- Hybrid work policy (3 days a week from office).
