QA Engineer - Betslip Team

Description

LeoVegas is looking for a QA Automation Engineer to join the Sportsbook team in Warsaw. The role involves shaping the future of the betting platform by ensuring a secure, seamless, and high-performance experience for millions of users across global brands.

Working within a collaborative Agile team, the successful candidate will design robust test strategies and define clear scopes aligned with business goals. The position requires tackling real-time data challenges and contributing to the development of a world-class sports betting product.

Responsibilities
  • Designing, executing, and maintaining test cases for backend and frontend components.
  • Identifying opportunities for automation across the betting flow and contributing to their implementation.
  • Supporting the design and maintenance of automated tests (API, UI, E2E).
  • Collaborating with developers and QAs to define testing scope and ensure adequate test coverage.
  • Executing manual and automated tests as part of the development lifecycle.
  • Reporting, tracking, and verifying defects, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Contributing to improving test processes, reliability, and overall product quality.
  • Communicating risks and findings clearly to team members and stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Experience with backend test automation using Java (required).
  • Practical experience with automated API testing (required).
  • Familiarity with REST APIs and basic understanding of microservices architecture (required).
  • Proficiency with test management tools (e.g. TestRail or similar) (required).
  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum and modern software development practices (required).
  • Experience with frontend testing including UI automation tools (Playwright) (nice-to-have).
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines (nice-to-have).
  • Knowledge of event-driven systems (nice-to-have).
  • Experience with performance testing (nice-to-have).
  • ISTQB certification (nice-to-have).
  • Interest in or experience with the iGaming domain (nice-to-have).
