QA Engineer - Betslip Team
LeoVegas is looking for a QA Automation Engineer to join the Sportsbook team in Málaga. The role involves shaping the future of the betting platform by ensuring a secure, seamless, and high-performance experience for millions of users across global brands.
Working within a collaborative Agile environment alongside Java and TypeScript engineers, the successful candidate will design robust test strategies and define clear scopes aligned with business goals. The position focuses on tackling real-time data challenges and elevating a world-class sports betting product.
- Designing, executing, and maintaining test cases for backend and frontend components.
- Identifying opportunities for automation across the betting flow and contributing to their implementation.
- Supporting the design and maintenance of automated tests (API, UI, E2E).
- Collaborating with developers and QAs to define testing scope and ensure adequate test coverage.
- Executing manual and automated tests as part of the development lifecycle.
- Reporting, tracking, and verifying defects, ensuring timely resolution.
- Contributing to improving test processes, reliability, and overall product quality.
- Communicating risks and findings clearly to team members and stakeholders.
- Experience with backend test automation using Java (required).
- Practical experience with automated API testing (required).
- Familiarity with REST APIs and basic understanding of microservices architecture (required).
- Proficiency with test management tools such as TestRail or similar (required).
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum and modern software development practices (required).
- Experience with frontend testing including UI automation tools like Playwright (nice-to-have).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (nice-to-have).
- Basic knowledge of event-driven systems such as Kafka (nice-to-have).
- Experience with performance testing (nice-to-have).
- ISTQB certification (nice-to-have).
- Interest in or experience with the iGaming domain (nice-to-have).
