Head of Technology
PIN-UP is looking for a Head of Technology. This role involves leading and supervising engineering managers, team leads, and tech teams, and collaborating with responsible leads to form, develop, and regulate their activities. The Head of Technology will organize and execute measures to guarantee the quality of outputs from the tech and architecture division. They will collaborate with company stakeholders to identify and define requirements, expectations, and the impact of architecture on other aspects of the business. The role also includes defining metrics, evaluating the performance of tech teams, and driving continuous improvement. The Head of Technology will drive technical and technological initiatives and innovations for products and the tooling area, manage and improve technical processes and instruments, and mentor, train, and lead technical and engineering teams towards technical expertise and excellence. They will also lead and support technical and engineering teams in planned projects and technical innovations implementation, and represent the technical teams to the business and vice versa as an effective information and communication bridge. Additionally, the Head of Technology will conduct technical recruiting interviews for candidates for Tech/Team Lead, Engineering Manager/Head positions.

- Define metrics and evaluate the performance of the tech teams, inform stakeholders of the results and drive continuous improvement.
- Drive technical and technological initiatives and innovations for products and the tooling area.
- Manage and improve technical processes and instruments.
- Mentor, train, and lead technical and engineering teams towards technical expertise and excellence.
- Lead and support technical and engineering teams in planned projects and technical innovations implementation.
- Represent the technical teams to the business and the business to the technical teams as an effective information and communication bridge.
- Conduct technical recruiting interviews for candidates for Tech/Team Lead, Engineering Manager/Head positions.
- Over 8 years of experience in Engineering and hands-on coding (required).
- Head or Engineering / Head of Dev Division experience is a must (team of 30+ members) (required).
- Initiative, responsible, business-oriented personality (required).
- Speak English and Ukrainian/Russian (required).
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire teams (required).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills (required).
- Proven ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organisation (required).
- Strategic thinker with the ability to align architectural initiatives with business goals (required).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions (required).
