Project Manager Design
Pin-Up Global is looking for a Project Manager Design to independently manage cross-functional design projects from the initial planning stages through to final delivery. The role involves owning project timelines, priorities, and scope while ensuring that all design deliverables align with business needs and stakeholder expectations.
The successful candidate will act as a central coordinator between designers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams. They will be responsible for maintaining clear documentation, managing team backlogs, and proactively identifying and mitigating project risks or resource constraints to ensure stable and predictable delivery across the design team.
- Independently manage cross-functional design projects from planning through delivery.
- Own project timelines, tasks, priorities, scope, and dependencies.
- Manage the team backlog and ensure priorities are clear and aligned with business needs.
- Identify and proactively manage project risks, blockers, dependencies, and resource constraints.
- Coordinate communication between designers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
- Ensure transparent and timely communication on project status, priorities, risks, and dependencies.
- Organize and participate in project kick-offs, status updates, reviews, and presentations.
- Ensure design deliverables meet agreed stakeholder expectations, requirements, scope, and deadlines.
- Monitor adherence to internal processes and SLAs.
- Maintain project documentation, reporting, and regular status updates.
- Identify operational inefficiencies and propose and implement process improvements.
- Implement basic workflow automations and use AI tools to optimize operational processes, documentation, and communication.
- Collect feedback from stakeholders and team members and turn it into actionable improvements.
- Provide constructive feedback to colleagues and contribute to effective team collaboration.
- Ensure stable and predictable delivery across the Design team.
- 3–4 years of experience in Project Management, Delivery Management, Operations, or a similar role (required).
- Experience working with design, product, creative, or cross-functional teams (required).
- Ability to independently manage projects and make day-to-day project decisions (required).
- Strong organizational, prioritization, and time-management skills (required).
- Experience managing multiple projects, deadlines, stakeholders, and dependencies simultaneously (required).
- Strong understanding of project scope, risk, resource, and dependency management (required).
- Confident working knowledge of Jira, Confluence, Slack, Canvas, and related collaboration tools (required).
- Experience independently managing team workflows and backlogs (required).
- Ability to create and maintain clear project documentation, reports, and status updates (required).
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills (required).
- Ability to decompose initiatives into clear tasks, milestones, and measurable outcomes (required).
- Ability to collect and analyze feedback and translate it into practical process improvements (required).
- Proactive approach to identifying problems and proposing solutions (required).
- Experience using AI tools and basic automation to improve operational efficiency (required).
- Ability to present improvement initiatives using clear, measurable goals (e.g. SMART), test them on a smaller scale, and implement them after alignment with Leads (required).
- English: A2 or higher (required).
