Project Manager (Tech)
Description
Pin-Up Global is looking for a Project Manager (Tech). This role involves managing the delivery process and ensuring roadmap execution within agreed timelines. The successful candidate will coordinate cross-functional teams, including Product, Engineering, BA, QA, and other stakeholders involved in delivery.
Pin-Up Global requires a professional who can proactively identify risks, blockers, and dependencies, and ensure their timely resolution or escalation. The role involves organising and maintaining core team processes such as planning, refinement, daily syncs, and delivery tracking, while maintaining up-to-date project context, statuses, and key decisions.
Responsibilities
- Managing the delivery process and ensuring roadmap execution within agreed timelines.
- Coordinating cross-functional teams, including Product, Engineering, BA, QA, and other stakeholders involved in delivery.
- Proactively identifying risks, blockers, and dependencies, and ensuring their timely resolution or escalation.
- Providing clear and transparent status updates on projects, key initiatives, and critical tasks to business stakeholders.
- Organising and maintaining core team processes: planning, refinement, daily syncs, and delivery tracking.
- Tracking commitments, action items, and adherence to agreed priorities.
- Managing dependencies across teams, tasks, and product modules.
- Planning team capacity based on workload, vacations, and business priorities.
- Maintaining up-to-date project context, statuses, and key decisions.
- Developing a deep understanding of the product, its structure, logic, and dependencies to support effective delivery planning.
- Taking end-to-end ownership of project delivery: acting proactively, driving execution, and ensuring timely communication without the need for constant external supervision.
Requirements
- Experience managing IT / product development projects. (required)
- Understanding of the full software development lifecycle: discovery, analysis, refinement, development, QA, release, and post-release. (required)
- Ability to work with roadmaps, backlogs, priorities, dependencies, and delivery planning. (required)
- Skills in risk management, capacity planning, and resource planning. (required)
- Experience coordinating cross-functional teams: Product, Engineering, BA, QA, Design, and business stakeholders. (required)
- Ability to build transparent processes for status reporting, escalation, and execution tracking. (required)
- Confident use of Jira / Confluence or similar tools. (required)
- Understanding of Agile / Scrum / Kanban without dogmatic adherence to frameworks. (required)
- Ability to read and understand technical documentation, API flows, integration diagrams, and basic product architecture. (required)
- Ability to identify technical and product dependencies before development begins. (required)
- Technical background is preferred: experience in Engineering, QA, BA, System Analysis, or Technical Project Management. (preferred)
- Hands-on experience specifically with B2B SaaS, platform products, integrations, high-load systems, or the telecom / messaging domain. (required)
- Understanding of how APIs, data flows, and microservice architecture work. (required)
- Strong ownership: ability to independently drive processes end-to-end without constant external supervision. (required)
- Proactivity: not waiting for instructions for every action, but independently identifying where follow-up, alignment, or escalation is needed. (required)
- Systems thinking and the ability to see not only an individual task, but also how changes impact the product, teams, and roadmap. (required)
- Strong accountability for outcomes, not just process execution. (required)
- Ability to work with incomplete information and quickly find the necessary context. (required)
- Strong communication skills: ability to align with both technical and business teams, ask the right questions, and drive clarity. (required)
