Pin-Up Global is looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join their team. This role involves working within a fast-growing business group alongside a multicultural team of professionals across various departments including development, architecture, and operations.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of complex systems, web applications, and APIs. The role offers the flexibility to work remotely or on-site in Warsaw, Limassol, or Yerevan, providing a collaborative environment for experts to contribute to high-impact projects.
- Execute testing activities, including functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing.
- Validate complex business flows, critical features, and edge cases.
- Identify, document, and track defects; collaborate with development teams to ensure resolution.
- Identify risks and adapt testing activities based on business impact and priorities.
- Drive prioritization of issues based on severity and business impact.
- Collaborate with developers, product and project managers, and stakeholders to ensure quality alignment with business goals.
- Ensure transparency of testing activities through proper documentation and reporting.
- 3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance (web, APIs, complex systems) (required)
- Strong experience in test design: test plans, test strategy, test cases, and documentation (required)
- Solid understanding of different testing types: functional, regression, integration, system, acceptance, exploratory (required)
- Strong knowledge of defect lifecycle, bug prioritization, and root cause analysis (required)
- Hands-on experience with API testing (REST; gRPC/WebSocket is a plus) (required)
- Proficiency in Python and understanding of OOP principles (required)
- Ability to assess risks and define testing scope based on business impact (required)
- Strong analytical thinking and ability to work with complex scenarios and edge cases (required)
- Knowledge of Docker and cloud network infrastructure (Kubernetes, Datadome, etc.) (required)
- Experience with databases (SQL, MongoDB) (required)
- Experience with Xray (required)
- Experience with ArgoCD (required)
- Experience with Git and GitLab CI/CD (required)
- Experience in testing gRPC Web APIs (required)
