- Actively contribute to the improvement of the test framework and testing infrastructure.
- Mentor QAE in test automation practices and best approaches.
- Perform regular code reviews to maintain high code quality and consistency.
- Safeguard product quality through proactive testing and automation strategies.
- Access automation needs in Domain.
- 3+ years in SDET or automation engineering role (required)
- Deep Python knowledge: OOP (MRO, descriptors, magic methods), iterators, decorators, context managers, common design patterns; Clean Code as a baseline habit (required)
- Comprehensive API testing: REST internals, contract validation, edge cases, auth flows (OAuth2, JWT); proficiency with httpx/requests or similar (required)
- Practical gRPC experience: proto definitions, Unary and Server-Streaming calls, status codes, metadata; ability to write and maintain gRPC test clients from scratch (required)
- Systematic approach to test stabilization: flakiness root-cause classification, retry logic, deterministic teardown, test data isolation (required)
- pytest mastery: fixtures, conftest hierarchy, plugins, markers, parametrize; experience contributing to a shared multi-team automation framework (required)
- Solid GitLab CI: multi-stage pipelines, job dependencies, artifacts, triggered pipelines, parallelization, job-level troubleshooting (required)
- Clear technical documentation: test strategies, coverage maps, risk assessments; ability to communicate trade-offs to both engineering and product teams (required)
- Web automation (Playwright/Selenium), POM pattern, cross-browser testing (required)
- XRay/Jira: test case management, JQL, test plans and test sets (required)
- ReportPortal: launch hierarchy, nested steps, pytest integration (required)
- Experience building internal QA tooling (dashboards, schedulers, integrations) (required)
- Familiarity with web-gRPC (sonora or similar) and HTTP/2 transport nuances (required)
