Experience in iGaming is highly valuable, especially with game platforms, RGS, casino integrations, wallet systems, provider integrations, and certification processes.

Responsibilities
  • Define the target architecture for iGaming game backend services, game frontend integration, provider integrations, remote game server capabilities, and certification-related tooling.
  • Design reusable architectural patterns for game lifecycle management, round state, bet placement, settlement, cancellation, rollback, reconciliation, audit logging, and player dispute investigation.
  • Establish technical standards for building crash games, slots, multipliers, mini-games, and other iGaming products.
  • Guide the architecture of wallet integrations, provider APIs, operator integrations, game launch flows, session management, authentication, transaction processing, idempotency, retry logic, and reconciliation.
  • Create scalable integration patterns that reduce one-off custom development and enable repeatable onboarding of new providers, operators, and jurisdictions.
  • Work closely with game developers, backend engineers, frontend engineers, QA, DevOps, product managers, compliance teams, security teams, and external certification stakeholders.
  • Ensure that game and platform architecture supports certification requirements such as GLI-19 and other applicable regulatory or laboratory standards.
  • Define technical approaches for RNG integration, game outcome traceability, round replay, RTP reporting, math model validation, build traceability, and evidence collection.
  • Review solution designs and critical code paths for correctness, scalability, auditability, security, and maintainability.
  • Create reference implementations, technical guidelines, architecture decision records, integration templates, and engineering standards.
  • Support CI/CD, release governance, versioning, environment management, and certification-friendly deployment processes.
  • Improve observability across the platform, including logs, metrics, traces, audit events, transaction monitoring, reconciliation dashboards, and alerting.
  • Identify architectural risks, technical debt, compliance gaps, and scalability bottlenecks, and propose practical remediation plans.
  • Mentor engineers and technical leads, raising the overall architectural maturity of the teams.
Requirements
  • Strong experience as a Software Architect, Principal Engineer, Staff Engineer, or similar senior technical role (required).
  • Practical experience in the iGaming, online casino, gambling platform, game provider, RGS, fintech, payments, or other regulated transactional domain (required).
  • Strong backend architecture experience with C#/.NET (required).
  • Experience with JavaScript or TypeScript-based frontend or game client integration (required).
  • Deep understanding of distributed systems, API design, event-driven architecture, high-throughput services, and transactional consistency (required).
  • Experience designing systems that process financial or wallet-related transactions, including debit, credit, rollback, retries, idempotency, reconciliation, and auditability (required).
  • Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, or similar (required).
  • Experience with caching, queues, message brokers, or streaming technologies such as Redis, RabbitMQ, Kafka, Azure Service Bus, or similar (required).
  • Strong knowledge of security, authentication, authorization, encryption, secrets management, and secure API design (required).
  • Experience with observability practices, including structured logging, metrics, tracing, alerting, dashboards, and incident investigation (required).
  • Experience defining architecture standards, technical documentation, reference implementations, and development guidelines (required).
  • Ability to work hands-on with engineering teams, review code, challenge technical decisions, and guide implementation (required).
  • Experience with iGaming game development, including slots, crash games, instant games, multipliers, or mini-games (nice-to-have).
  • Experience with Remote Game Server architecture (nice-to-have).
  • Experience with GLI-19, GLI-11, GLI-33, or similar iGaming certification standards (nice-to-have).
  • Experience working with certification labs, regulated releases, compliance documentation, or jurisdiction-specific requirements (nice-to-have).
  • Knowledge of RNG systems, game math integration, RTP validation, volatility, game simulations, and outcome auditability (nice-to-have).
  • Experience designing provider adapter frameworks, operator integrations, aggregator integrations, or wallet integration platforms (nice-to-have).
  • Experience with real-time systems such as WebSocket, SignalR, or similar technologies (nice-to-have).
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP (nice-to-have).
  • Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, infrastructure as code, and modern CI/CD pipelines (nice-to-have).
  • Experience creating tooling for simulations, certification evidence export, replay, reconciliation, or automated compliance checks (nice-to-have).
