Software Engineer (Fullstack)
RedCore is building a new HR product from scratch. The company is looking for a senior engineer who enjoys working closely with Product, takes ownership of architecture decisions, and can build scalable systems from the ground up. This is a hands-on role with real impact on product direction and technical foundations.
The ideal candidate is product-minded and customer-focused, with strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset. They understand that successful products are built around user value and enjoy collaborating with Product and proposing their own ideas. The role requires balancing Engineering and Product goals, being proactive, and comfortable solving complex challenges, ready to be a core player in the team.
- Design, develop, and maintain a scalable product using .NET and React.
- Build clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Optimise application performance, reliability, and security.
- Design and maintain database structures in PostgreSQL.
- Integrate third-party APIs and AI services.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Engineering teams.
- Participate in Agile processes and continuous improvement.
- 5+ years of professional experience in fullstack development using the latest .NET Core and React (TypeScript) (required)
- Strong proficiency in ASP.NET Core and modern C# (required)
- Strong experience with relational databases (preferably PostgreSQL and ORM tools (EF Core)) (required)
- Hands-on experience designing and optimising database schemas and queries (required)
- Experience with Docker and GCP/AWS-based deployments (required)
- Experience building products from scratch in dynamic environments (required)
- Solid understanding of REST API design principles (required)
- Practical knowledge of unit and integration testing (required)
- Strong understanding of security best practices and performance optimisation (required)
- Experience designing scalable backend architectures (required)
- Understanding of monitoring and observability best practices (required)
- Production-based experience to work with AI agents and modern AI tools (Cursor, Copilot, Codex, etc.) (required)
- Experience integrating AI services (e.g. OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic) (required)
- Experience with Jira integration (required)
