Software Engineer (React)
Pin-Up Global is looking for a Software Engineer (React) to join their team. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable frontend services using modern technologies. The successful candidate will contribute to technical discussions to solve challenging issues and focus on optimising application performance, scalability, and security.
In this position, the engineer will collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to deliver seamless user experiences. The role also involves writing clean, maintainable, and well-documented code while adhering to established coding standards, as well as mentoring and sharing knowledge with the team.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable frontend services using modern versions of frontend technologies.
- Take part in technical discussions to come up with solutions for challenging issues.
- Optimise application performance, scalability, and security.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other developers to deliver seamless user experiences.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, following coding standards.
- Mentorship and knowledge sharing with the team.
- 5+ years in frontend engineering (required)
- 3+ years with React and TypeScript (required)
- Expert in HTML5, CSS/SCSS, responsive layouts, and component-driven architecture (required)
- Solid unit testing experience using Karma/Jasmine; testing pyramid mindset (required)
- Performance optimisation (change detection, lazy loading, bundle splitting) (required)
- API integration: REST/GraphQL, WebSockets; robust error/edge-case handling (required)
- Tooling: package managers, lint/format, Git/PR workflows (required)
- CI/CD familiarity; feature flags, environment config, release hygiene (required)
- Security basics (OWASP for web), auth flows (OAuth/OIDC/JWT) (required)
- Strong communication, code review and mentoring skills; product-oriented mindset (required)
