Revenue Accountant

Description

Playtech's Finance unit is looking for a proactive Revenue Accountant with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.

The role involves processing customer payments from bank statements with accuracy and attention to detail, ensuring smooth cash flow. Maintaining clear and reliable financial records is essential for day-to-day operations. The successful candidate will prepare and issue a high volume of invoices and statements to customers on time.

This position plays a key role in month-end processes, helping the team close periods with confidence. Responsibilities also include managing a busy email inbox, ensuring timely and accurate responses to queries and information requests from customers and colleagues. Monitoring and following up on overdue accounts with a solutions-focused approach and implementing effective collection strategies to minimise outstanding receivables are also key.

The Revenue Accountant will partner with other departments to quickly resolve billing and payment issues, ensuring all work is fully compliant with company policies and relevant regulations. Preparing accurate financial data for external auditors and identifying and suggesting ways to enhance efficiency in financial transactions are also part of the role. The individual will work closely with the finance team to align on shared financial objectives and build and maintain strong, trust-based client relationships.

Requirements
  • Hold Bookkeeping qualifications and be able to show recent, relevant experience (required).
  • Have proficiency in written and spoken English at the business level (required).
  • Bring solid experience with financial systems (required).
  • Are proficient and skilled in Excel (required).
  • Respond positively to changing deadlines and shifting priorities (required).
  • Work effectively within a team and support others when needed (required).
  • Bring a flexible attitude and proactive, can-do mindset (required).
  • Have a service- and business-oriented approach, complemented by strong interpersonal skills (required).
  • Are communicative, eager to learn, and able to take and implement instructions (required).
  • Experience with SAP Business One (nice-to-have).
  • Previous experience in the gaming/technology sector or other fast-moving environments (nice-to-have).
  • Having worked in a multi-national / multi-currency environment (nice-to-have).
  • B2B experience (nice-to-have).
