Senior Trader
Playtech Managed Services is looking for a motivated Senior In-Play Football Trader with excellent analytical and decision-making skills.
The role involves handling in-play trading, following and monitoring football events, and creating events and markets. The Senior Trader will analyse data feeds, compile markets and odds, and set betting limits, accepting or declining bets. This position also requires monitoring client behaviour to identify business opportunities and working with other departments to improve and build upon the product. Responding to client emails and requests is also a key part of the role.
- Handle in-play trading.
- Follow and monitor football events.
- Create events and markets.
- Analyse data feeds.
- Compile markets and odds as necessary.
- Set betting limits and accept or decline bets.
- Monitor client behaviour and identify business opportunities.
- Work with other departments to improve and build upon product.
- Respond to client emails and requests.
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role (required).
- Good level of English (required).
- Deep knowledge of and interest in Football (required).
- Understand the sports trading industry (required).
- Strong analytical thinking and decision-making skills both alone and within a team (required).
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment (required).
- Strong computer literacy (required).
- Available to work on flexible shifts, weekends, and national holidays (required).
