Risk Mathematician
The Risk Mathematician is responsible for ensuring fair, secure, and mathematically sound gameplay across Live Casino products. This includes verifying game mechanics, identifying potential risks or exploits, and contributing to the development of safe and engaging gaming experiences.
ARRISE requires a professional to analyze betting patterns of suspicious players and monitor the performance of game equipment such as roulettes, dice, and RNGs. The role also involves verifying math files for existing and new Live Casino games, identifying and assessing risks, and building automated reports in Tableau for routine checks. Collaboration with Risk and Surveillance teams is essential, and daily activity is reported to the line manager.
- Analyze betting patterns of suspicious players
- Monitor performance of game equipment (e.g. roulettes, dice, RNGs)
- Verify math files for existing and new Live Casino games
- Identify and assess risks in Live Casino games
- Build automated reports in Tableau for routine checks
- Suggest new game ideas and improvements
- Collaborate with Risk and Surveillance teams
- Report daily activity to line manager
- University degree (required)
- Solid understanding of probability, statistics, and mathematical concepts relevant to game analysis and risk assessment (required)
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience (required)
- Advanced Python skills (required)
- Strong math, statistics, and analytical skills (required)
- Experience with Tableau (required)
- Advanced Excel, including VBA macros (required)
- Strong programming skills (Python, R, Julia, Matlab, etc.) (required)
- Proficiency in English (written and verbal) (required)
- Ability to clearly explain technical info (required)
- Good communication, attention to detail, and organizational skills (required)
- Experience in Live Casino or online gaming (nice-to-have)
- Knowledge of common exploit techniques in gaming (e.g. bots, RNG abuse) (nice-to-have)
