SkillOnNet is looking to hire a Junior Business Intelligence Analyst with strong analytical skills and an interest in developing stakeholder management capabilities. As a Junior BI Analyst, the successful candidate will support the use of Business Intelligence tools to improve process automation and business performance visibility, contributing to data-driven decision-making across the business.

The role involves working with Tableau to create and maintain reports and dashboards, while learning how BI solutions can generate incremental business value. Responsibilities
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of underlying data, data structures, and business uses of data.
  • Partner with a variety of business teams and external agencies to gather, document and maintain business requirements that will inform data modelling decisions.
  • Work with multi-nationals with the ability to assimilate relevant cultural and regulatory differences.
  • Utilise SQL and data visualisation tools to deliver dashboards and analysis to enhance visibility and decision making.
  • Identify opportunities for increased automation and efficiency through technical solutions.
  • Build customer lifetime value models.
  • Help department managers with ad hoc projections and other modelling tasks.
  • Deliver day to day data requests.
  • Identify cost saving opportunities.
  • Create financial modelling.
  • Utilise a hypothesis-driven problem-solving approach to design, construct, and rapidly test or iterate exploratory data-mining analyses to reveal insight.
  • Interpret and communicate insights to senior management.
  • Work with business leaders to identify and develop metrics and visualisations that will track performance and highlight potential inefficiencies.
  • Integrate a variety of data sources to uncover insights.
  • Work with large, complex data sets across multiple platforms and design efficient processes to provide accurate and timely information.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in data science or related field (required)
  • 0–2 years of experience in a Business Intelligence, Data Analyst, or similar analytical role (required)
  • Experience in the gaming industry (nice-to-have)
  • Experience with prediction models and quantitative analysis (preferred)
  • Basic to intermediate SQL skills (required)
  • Strong Excel skills, including the use of formulas, pivot tables, and basic data analysis techniques (required)
  • Understanding of digital tracking, measurement, and reporting tools (required)
  • Strong written and verbal communication in the English language (required)
  • Teamworking skills and the ability to build relationships internally and externally (required)
