Accountant
SoftConstruct is on the search for a new player to join their team as an Accountant.
This role involves recording daily financial transactions in compliance with IFRS and local regulations, preparing financial statements, and supporting month-end and year-end closing processes.
The Accountant will also be responsible for preparing and filing tax returns, ensuring documentation adheres to internal control processes, and overseeing Accounts Receivable & Payable.
Additional duties include preparing revenue projections, expenditure forecasting, assisting in budget monitoring, conducting variance analysis, and contributing to the development and automation of new accounting systems and procedures.
- Record daily financial transactions in compliance with IFRS and local regulations.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Prepare and file federal, state, and local tax returns, including VAT and income tax.
- Ensure all documentation adheres to internal control processes and accounting policies.
- Oversee Accounts Receivable & Payable, ensuring timely invoicing and vendor payments.
- Prepare revenue projections, expenditure forecasting, and assist in budget monitoring.
- Conduct variance analysis and identify financial risks for management review.
- Provide documentation and resolve findings for internal and external audits.
- Contribute to developing and automating new accounting systems and procedures.
- Carry out other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor that align with the job description and comply with the labor code.
- 3+ years in of experience in financial reporting, accounting, or auditing (required).
- Experience in a multinational or large corporate finance environment (preferred).
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (required).
- Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
- Fluency in Armenian, English (required).
- Strong knowledge of RA Tax Code and Labor Code (required).
- Excellent communication, leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization (required).
