HR Business Partner / VBET
SoftConstruct is looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to work side by side with its distributed teams across several countries. This role will be the person leaders turn to when people questions get complicated and will ensure that HR policies and programs work the same way everywhere. It's a role with real influence, advising leadership, helping teams work better together, and turning business goals into HR plans that people understand and use.
The position is fully remote with occasional business trips, ideally for someone in a CET/EET time zone. The role reports to the CHRO.
- Be the go-to HR partner and coach for business units, helping leaders with team structure, talent planning, and change.
- Help managers give better feedback, build development plans, and run the performance review cycle from start to finish.
- Own HR policies end to end: review them, write them clearly, and roll them out so they're legally sound and applied the same way in every country the company works in.
- Make core HR processes simpler and more scalable – performance cycles, L&D, data management. Fix bottlenecks where spotted.
- Launch new initiatives that matter to people: engagement surveys, wellness programs, remote work guidelines, and whatever else the organisation needs next.
- Handle employee relations issues with care – running fair, objective investigations and applying policies consistently across remote and multi-site teams.
- Look after the full employee journey, so onboarding, offboarding, and joining the culture feel smooth for everyone, wherever they work.
- 5+ years in HR, with at least 3 as an HR Business Partner or Head of HR supporting international or fully remote teams (required).
- Real experience with complex employee relations, performance management, and coaching senior leaders (required).
- Comfort working across different labour laws and knowing what good practice looks like in an international, remote setting (required).
- A clear communicator who builds trust easily – with senior leaders and with a diverse, remote workforce (required).
- Confidence with HRIS data and people analytics, and the ability to turn numbers into recommendations (required).
- Fluent English (required).
- Native Ukrainian or Russian language skills (required).
- Experience in iGaming or another highly regulated industry (nice-to-have).
