Senior Project Manager
SoftConstruct is looking for a motivated and responsible Senior Project Manager to join the Certifications Department. The role involves managing software certification projects from initiation through to completion while ensuring all milestones are met on time.
The Senior Project Manager will coordinate with cross-functional teams and external certification bodies to ensure compliance with relevant standards. The position requires a professional capable of monitoring project progress, managing risks, and maintaining accurate documentation throughout the certification lifecycle.
- Manage software certification projects from initiation to completion.
- Develop and maintain project plans and schedules to ensure on-time delivery of certification milestones.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including development, QA, regulatory, and external certification bodies.
- Monitor project progress, report on status, risks, and issues to the head of the department.
- Ensure final reports include the relevant scope of certification, company name, and regulatory details.
- Understand and interpret relevant certification standards and regulations.
- Support the development and documentation of certification requirements.
- Prepare and submit certification documentation to certification bodies.
- Liaise with certification laboratories and resolve related queries or issues.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, reports, and certification records.
- Prepare regular status reports and updates for stakeholders.
- Ensure all project and certification documentation is accurate, complete, and up-to-date.
- Carry out other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor that align with the job description and comply with the labour code.
- Bachelor’s degree in Management, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (required).
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in software project management (required).
- English proficiency at least B2 level (required).
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC) and methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) (required).
- Experience with quality assurance practices and tools (required).
- Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities (required).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills (required).
- Good communication and interpersonal skills (required).
