Technical Team Lead
SoftConstruct is seeking a Technical Team Lead to join its Technology Directorate. This role involves overseeing software development processes and guiding a team of engineers to deliver high-quality technical solutions.
The position requires a professional capable of managing team tasks, ensuring project alignment with organisational goals, and fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within a fast-paced environment.
- Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, ensuring high-quality development and delivery of projects.
- Plan, prioritize, and manage team tasks, ensuring alignment with company goals and deadlines.
- Oversee software design, development, and deployment processes, maintaining best coding practices.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define technical requirements and solutions.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality and team performance.
- Implement Agile methodologies, ensuring smooth sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Optimize system performance, scalability, and security by adopting the latest technologies and best practices.
- Identify and resolve technical challenges, troubleshooting issues effectively.
- Ensure the team stays updated with industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and knowledge sharing within the team.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (required)
- 5+ years of experience in software development (required)
- At least 2 years of experience in a leadership or managerial role (required)
- Experience in the gambling, gaming, or fintech industry (nice-to-have)
- Proficiency in modern programming languages (C#, Node JS, Go, C++, PHP, Unity, Python, React, React Native, Angular, UI Developer, QA manual, QA Automation, Flutter, Android, IOS, Network, SysAdmin, DevOps, IT support, Monitoring, Operations IT security, SOC, Cyber Security) (required)
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and microservices architecture (required)
- Strong understanding of database management (SQL, NoSQL) and API development (required)
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and automation tools (required)
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and scalable system design (required)
