Consumer KYC Analyst
Trustly is seeking a Consumer KYC Analyst to join the Anti Financial Crime function within its operations unit. This role is essential for maintaining regulatory compliance and ensuring the integrity of operations by managing KYC assignments and contributing to risk mitigation strategies.
The analyst will work closely with various stakeholders to conduct detailed investigations, including the assessment of Politically Exposed Persons and sanctions screening. The position reports directly to the KYC Manager and requires a professional capable of navigating complex risk profiles in a high-growth environment.
- Analyze and assess risk profiles for identified high-risk individuals based on gathered information and documentation.
- Manage, investigate and document hits from screening against international and national sanctions lists.
- Investigate and assess potential matches against lists of Politically Exposed Persons (PEPs) and their close associates.
- Accurately document analyses, decisions and supporting evidence in systems for traceability and regulatory compliance.
- Escalate complex cases and suspicious activities to relevant internal functions according to established procedures.
- Previous experience working with KYC/AML, specifically in Enhanced Due diligence (EDD/ODD), sanctions handling and PEP screening, preferably within the financial sector or Fintech (required)
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and the ability to identify and assess risks (required)
- Good knowledge of relevant AML/CFT regulations and an understanding of risks associated with financial crime (required)
- Self-starter, structured with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously and make well-founded risk-based decisions (required)
- High integrity and understanding of the importance of confidentiality when handling sensitive information (required)
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written (required)
