QA Engineer

Description

The Core Department is designing, developing and maintaining all of evoke major core applications. As a QA Engineer at Evoke, the role focuses on ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of web and core applications using advanced testing strategies and modern automation tools. The QA Engineer will work closely with developers, product managers, system analysts, and project managers in a highly collaborative team environment. The position involves delivering comprehensive test plans, manual test scenarios, and automated test cases using best practices to safeguard core applications. Ensuring all development work is validated thoroughly to guarantee a consistently high-level of quality before reaching production.

Responsibilities
  • Review specification and design documents.
  • Create and maintain test plans and test cases.
  • Report, manage and track bugs in our applications.
  • Working closely with different interfaces like developers, Product managers and Project managers.
  • Developing automation test scenarios on top of the infrastructure.
  • Investigating new technologies and work with peripheral/3rd party tools.
Requirements
  • Experience in software testing (required).
  • Experience with testing methodologies (required).
  • Experience with automation testing (preferred).
  • Experience with HTML5, JS and Hybrid technologies (preferred).
  • Familiarity with Web Services and Soap testing (preferred).
  • Proactive approach (required).
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, multi-tasks environment (required).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (required).
  • Ability to understand the systems, translate specification documents and convert them to test documents (required).
  • Solving problems in complex environments (required).
  • Work with remote team members (required).
  • Degree in computer science (preferred).
