Senior Software Developer, Cerberus

The engineering team designs and implements robust facial recognition and identity systems. It works in a full-stack environment to support global expansion, ensuring high-quality software delivery. This role sets the standard for a talented group of developers to innovate and excel in delivering reliable solutions. It embraces an AI-first culture and champions the adoption of next-generation tooling and image analysis to accelerate delivery and enhance code quality.
- Act as a point of escalation for the team both in and out of office hours.
- Lead the development of scalable, maintainable, and performant systems.
- Apply active governance around overall solution design and code quality.
- Ensure solutions meet the needs of the Business.
- Manage work estimation and the production of solution documents.
- Maintain a deep understanding of the technical structure, domain, and architecture of the systems.
- Guide a small team of developers in the design and development of solutions.
- Own technical solutions and their hands-on delivery from development to live.
- Promote knowledge sharing and mentor team members.
- Expert knowledge of Kafka, SQL, .Net, Golang or React (required).
- Proven experience building highly scalable systems, preferably in the cloud (GCP valued) (required).
- Proficiency in developing customer-centric front-end solutions (required).
- Exposure to NoSQL datastores (required).
- Leadership experience within development teams and technical project delivery (required).
- Capability in technical leadership, mentorship, pairing opportunities, and code reviews (required).
- Strong technical documentation skills (required).
- Deep understanding of large-scale, highly available, multiuser, service-based systems (required).
- Familiarity with on-call rotations and incident response (required).
