Fraud Analyst
Digitain is looking for a Fraud Analyst to join its growing team and work on complex data.
The role involves observing customer transactions to identify fraudulent activity such as account takeover, friendly fraud, theft, and similar other risks. The successful candidate will monitor customer and transactional records to identify unauthorized transactions and fraudulent accounts.
This position requires maintaining fraud analysis models to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of company systems. The Fraud Analyst will determine existing fraud trends by analysing accounts and transaction patterns and recommend anti-fraud processes for changing transaction patterns and trends.
Key responsibilities include keeping track of operational activities, handling information from various sources, conducting research, leveraging data, and monitoring activity. Other tasks may be requested.
- Observe customer transactions to identify fraudulent activity such as account takeover, friendly fraud, theft, and similar other risks.
- Monitor constantly customer and transactional records to identify unauthorized transactions and fraudulent accounts.
- Maintain fraud analysis models to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of company systems.
- Ensure confidentiality of all information collected during the investigation.
- Determine existing fraud trends by analysing accounts and transaction patterns.
- Recommend anti-fraud processes for changing transaction patterns and trends.
- Keep track of operational activities and handle information from various sources.
- Conduct research, leverage data, and monitor activity.
- Perform other tasks by request.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Economics, Data Analysis, or Data Science (required).
- Advanced level of Probability theories and Statistics (required).
- Advanced practical knowledge of MS Excel, Power BI, and SQL (required).
- Advanced knowledge of English and Armenian languages (required).
- Knowledge of Russian is a plus (nice-to-have).
- Familiarity with all products and games of the Company (required).
