Senior Solution Engineer
Entain is looking for a Senior Solution Engineer to join its IT team in Rome. The role involves providing technical support to Tech Leads and development teams, assisting Tech Leads in defining technological solutions, and collaborating with development teams on the design of components, APIs, and integrations. The position also includes participating in the definition of technical choices, standards, and best practices.
The Senior Solution Engineer will contribute to architectural definition, guide the definition and validation of Low Level Design (LLD), and coordinate design activities between teams to ensure consistency with architecture and company standards. They will support the Architecture team in disseminating technical guidelines and offer technical analysis and qualified feedback on design choices.
Furthermore, the role fosters technical alignment between work teams, interacting with Architecture, Platform, Security, Infrastructure, Delivery, and QA departments. The Senior Solution Engineer will contribute to the dissemination of technical knowledge, good practices, and shared models, supporting teams in defining reliable, observable, and scalable solutions.
In terms of technological evolution and innovation, the role promotes the adoption of innovative technologies, frameworks, and tools, supporting the design of cloud-native, event-driven, and agentic solutions. It also encourages the use of automation tools and Artificial Intelligence in development processes and facilitates technical coordination between different stakeholders.
- Support Tech Leads in defining technological solutions.

- Experience in modern ecosystems, including Java, React, and Next.js (required).
- Experience with relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Couchbase, CouchDB, Cassandra) (required).
- Experience with microservices architectures, APIs, and event-driven models (required).
- Experience with containers and Kubernetes (required).
- Experience with CI/CD on advanced pipelines (e.g., ArgoCD) (required).
- Experience with Google Cloud (required).
- Experience with observability systems (e.g., Dynatrace, Grafana) (required).
- Experience with event streaming & messaging (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ) (required).
- Experience with caching (e.g., Redis) (required).
- Experience with MDG (e.g., Hazelcast) (required).
- Experience with digital experience & marketing automation (e.g., Adobe AEM, Adobe Journey Optimizer) (required).
