Commercial Analyst – Casino

Description

The Commercial Analyst for the Casino team is responsible for deriving insights to drive actionable business outcomes. The role involves working alongside other analysts to evolve tools, models, and data visualisations that support the FanDuel Group business. In addition to the specific responsibilities outlined, employees may be required to perform other such duties as assigned by the Company. This ensures operational flexibility and allows the Company to meet evolving business needs.

Responsibilities
  • Work with other analysts to produce insights and drivers of business performance.
  • Create, modify and evolve models and data visualisations to better understand and explain the day-to-day performance of various KPIs.
  • Create and maintain accurate revenue forecasts to support strategic decision-making.
  • Participate in presentations focused on using analysis to drive new business outcomes.
  • Field and fulfil requests for various business inquires.
  • Opportunity to mentor junior analysts on day-to-day requests as well as team best practices.
Requirements
  • A minimum of two years’ experience in a financial, business or data analytics role (preferred).
  • Bachelor's Degree in a highly numerate major (Math, Finance, Econ, etc.) or relevant experience in data and/or business analysis (required).
  • Strong personal organisational and time management skills (required).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a lot of ambiguity (required).
  • Hands-on experience in SQL and Excel (required).
  • Experience with forecasting models (desirable).
  • Strong problem-solving skills, allied with track record of transforming data into actionable business insight (required).
  • Experience working in groups and leading smaller intra year projects (required).
  • Experience collaboratively working with colleagues in other countries and time zones (preferred).
