Developer Level 2
Games Global is looking for a talented and motivated Developer to join Stormcraft Studios. In this role, the successful candidate will design, build, and maintain slot games using a proprietary JavaScript-based game engine, turning creative concepts into polished, high-quality player experiences.
The Developer will work with modern development tools, including AI-assisted workflows, to write clean, scalable code and deliver innovative, practical solutions. By working closely with stakeholders across the studio, the individual will help drive efficiency, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyse requirements.
- Design, develop, and maintain software applications, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Develop and maintain APIs, integrations, and connectors to enhance system functionalities.
- Design, develop, and implement business process automation solutions to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
- Lead the integration of diverse IT systems to ensure seamless data flow and functionality across platforms.
- Develop custom applications using a blend of low-code and pro-code approaches.
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement through technology.
- Explore and implement AI-driven solutions to further enhance automation, predictive analytics, and decision-making processes.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends, driving their adoption where appropriate to enhance the organisation’s technological capabilities.
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging of software applications to ensure quality and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues, performing root cause analysis when necessary.
- Ensure timely completion of assigned projects and deliverables.
- Provide technical guidance to peers and stakeholders of varying technical capability.
- Lead design discussions for solutions in his/her remit.
- Participate in process reviews to ensure technical feasibility and understanding of the process being automated.
- Research and prototype of new tools and technologies, including required documentation.
- Teach, coach or mentor others to improve organisational outcomes using automation.
- Establish logging, monitoring and observability requirements and solutions for new tools or applications using AI and automation tools.
- Minimum 3 year relevant qualification and at least 5 years software development experience. (required)
- Relevant 1 year certification and at least 7 years software development experience. (required)
- Minimum 8 years software development experience. (required)
- Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript and C#. (required)
- Experience working with event-based architectures and associated infrastructure patterns. (required)
- Agile practices (such as scrums/sprints, customer journey mapping, kanban, backlogs). (required)
- Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, operations, and executive leadership. (required)
- Solid knowledge of API development and integration techniques. (required)
- Working in an environment that complies with IS27001. (preferred)
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure. (required)
