Experienced Accountant
Greentube is looking for an experienced individual to strengthen the Austrian Accounting and Tax team. In this role, the person will ensure that financial processes are efficient, compliant, and of a high standard, while also contributing to the continuous development of financial systems.
The position offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of finance and technology in a dynamic and international environment. With expertise in accounting and an interest in digital tools, the individual will actively shape the further development and standardisation of financial processes.
- Support with monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with the Austrian Commercial Code (UGB).
- Undertake operational accounting tasks, including specialised areas, and carry out internal controls.
- Support with tax-related issues, investment management, provisions, accruals, and fixed assets.
- Participate in the coordination of tax audits and assist with the preparation of tax returns.
- Contribute to initiatives for the standardisation of accounting processes and identify potential for optimisation and efficiency improvements.
- Completed accounting training with a successfully passed balance sheet accounting examination (required).
- Completed degree in a comparable field (preferred).
- 3 to 5 years of practical experience in accounting, ideally in a corporate environment or with a tax advisory or auditing firm (required).
- Confident use of accounting software and MS Office (required).
- Business Central knowledge (preferred).
- Accurate, structured way of working and a strong understanding of figures (required).
- Team spirit, resilience, and flexibility (required).
- Very good written and spoken German and English skills (required).

- The minimum gross annual salary for this position, according to the applicable collective agreement, is 47,200 Euros (on a full-time basis). An overpayment is possible depending on qualifications and experience.
