Software Development Engineer in Test (f/m/d)
The Core Platform Engineering team builds and evolves the foundation of a high-performing gaming platform used across B2C and B2B products. The focus lies on delivering reliable, scalable, and compliant backend services that power a wide range of gaming experiences.

- Ensure visibility, traceability, and control of the testing process to enable consistent delivery of high-quality software.
- Define the testing scope for feature and regression testing to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Support testing activities for releases to maintain stability and reliability in production.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated tests using TypeScript, following software engineering best practices such as clean, reusable, and maintainable code.
- Carry out test runs, analyze results, and manage bug triage and tracking to drive timely issue resolution.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our test automation framework and tooling, not just the implementation of individual test cases.
- Identify and implement improvements in the test automation process to enhance overall quality and speed.
- Support the team in investigating production issues to help maintain system reliability.
- Strong TypeScript programming skills are essential; This role focuses on developing production-quality automation code, not just writing test cases (required).
- Hands-on experience with web application test automation using Playwright (required).
- Solid understanding of testing concepts, methodologies, and best practices (required).
- Experience working with the databases SQL or MongoDB (required).
- Familiarity with Agile development environments and collaborative workflows (required).
- Experience with tools and platforms, specifically Git, Azure, Docker, and Kubernetes (required).
- Experience with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber is considered a plus (nice-to-have).
- Strong communication skills and very good command of written and spoken English (required).

- The minimum gross annual salary for this position according to the applicable collective agreement is €70,000 (full-time basis). A higher salary is possible depending on qualifications and experience.
