Middle Manual QA Engineer
Growe is looking for a Middle Manual QA Engineer to join their team in Europe. The role focuses on ensuring the quality and functionality of products through rigorous manual testing processes.
The successful candidate will work closely with development and product teams to maintain high standards across existing functionality and new features. This position involves active participation in the full software development lifecycle, from release planning to final deployment validation.
- Test existing functionality and new features.
- Write and maintain test documentation.
- Ensure the quality and functionality of the product through manual testing.
- Identify, document, and track bugs and issues.
- Collaborate with development and product teams to ensure proper functionality.
- Perform regression testing and verify bug fixes.
- Provide feedback and suggestions for improvements based on test results.
- Participate in release planning and validate releases before deployment.
- 3+ years of experience as a Manual QA Engineer (required)
- Experience in Web application testing (frontend and backend) (required)
- Hands-on experience with REST API testing (Postman, Swagger/OpenApi) (required)
- Functional testing experience (e.g. regression, integration, UAT, smoke, etc.) (required)
- Strong knowledge of the theory of testing (SDLC / STLC) (required)
- Solid experience in writing test documentation (requirements gathering, minor test plans, test reports, test cases/checklists) (required)
- Knowledge of JSON, HTML/CSS (required)
- Familiar with Jira, Confluence (required)
- Strong knowledge of Agile / Scrum / Kanban (required)
- Experience with Databases (MySQL, Oracle) (required)
- Expertise in requirements analysis and clarification (required)
- English - at least Upper-Intermediate (required)
- Outside-the-box thinking and creativity (required)
