Senior .NET Engineer
Growe is seeking a Senior .NET Engineer to design, build, and maintain backend services using .NET (C#) and develop microservices in a production environment. The role involves supporting existing functionality and ensuring backward compatibility of releases.
Responsibilities include working on core domain flows such as accounts, registration, authentication, and wallet systems. The engineer will participate in task analysis, decomposition, and effort estimation, delivering completed tasks for testing and collaborating with QA. Building integrations using asynchronous communication and event-driven patterns, working with relational databases, and optimizing query performance are key aspects of the role. The position also requires identifying performance bottlenecks, contributing to system design improvements, and enhancing service observability.
Further duties involve managing deployment configurations in Kubernetes environments, working within a GitOps setup, and participating in deployment and operational ownership. Collaboration with DevOps teams on infrastructure changes, including Terraform workflows, is expected. The role includes participation in an on-call rotation and handling production incidents, as well as identifying technical debt and proposing improvements. Performing high-quality code reviews focused on maintainability, performance, and consistency is also a requirement.
- Design, build, and maintain backend services using .NET (C#).
- Develop and evolve microservices in a production environment.

- 5+ years of commercial backend development experience with C# / .NET (6+), .NET Core / ASP.NET Core (required)
- Solid understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems (required)
- Experience with asynchronous communication and event-driven architectures (required)
- Experience with message brokers (Kafka or similar) (required)
- Strong knowledge of relational databases (SQL, transactions, indexing, performance tuning) (required)
- PostgreSQL will be a plus (nice-to-have)
- Experience with ORM tools (e.g., Entity Framework) (required)
- Experience writing Unit and Integration tests (required)
- Understanding of authentication and authorization (OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect) (required)
- Good understanding of software design principles (SOLID, separation of concerns, testability) (required)
- Understanding of observability and monitoring in production systems (required)
- Experience troubleshooting performance and memory issues (required)
- English - Upper Intermediate (required)
- Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform will be a plus (nice-to-have)
