Description

The Director, Market Analytics leads IGT's market intelligence function, delivering research and insights that shape product innovation, marketing strategy, and business growth. This role oversees customer and player research programmes, evaluates new market opportunities, analyses competitive trends, and measures marketing effectiveness.

Working closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams, the Director transforms complex market data into actionable recommendations that drive business decisions. The role involves building and mentoring a high-performing team while establishing research standards and best practices across the organisation.

Responsibilities
  • Lead customer and player research initiatives, including Net Promoter Score (NPS), customer satisfaction, and brand tracking programmes.
  • Conduct in-depth analyses of new and emerging markets, evaluating market size, growth potential, regulatory environments, and customer behaviour to support expansion strategies.
  • Monitor the competitive landscape, identifying industry trends, opportunities, and potential threats.
  • Measure and optimise marketing return on investment (ROI) by evaluating campaign and channel performance.
  • Translate research findings into executive-level presentations and strategic recommendations that influence product, marketing, and business decisions.
  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing Market Analytics team while establishing research standards and best practices.
  • Partner with Marketing, Product, Sales, and Finance to align market insights with forecasting, planning, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Manage relationships with external research vendors and panel providers to ensure high-quality, cost-effective research.
  • Stay current on emerging research methodologies, analytics tools, and trends within the gaming and consumer markets.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Market Research, Marketing, Statistics, Economics, Business, or a related field (required).
  • 10+ years of experience in market research, market analytics, or competitive intelligence, including at least 3 years leading teams (required).
  • Demonstrated experience designing and managing customer research programmes such as NPS, satisfaction, and brand tracking studies (required).
  • Experience conducting competitive intelligence and market opportunity assessments to support strategic planning and expansion (required).
  • Strong understanding of marketing performance measurement, ROI analysis, and campaign attribution (required).
  • Advanced analytical skills with experience using research and statistical tools such as Qualtrics, SPSS, Python, or R (required).
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills with the ability to present complex insights to executive leadership (required).
  • Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage multiple high-impact research initiatives simultaneously (required).
  • Experience managing external research agencies and vendor partnerships (required).
  • Master's degree, professional market research certification, and/or gaming industry experience (nice-to-have).
