Enterprise Apps Analyst IV
IGT is looking for an Enterprisewide Applications Analyst IV to support SAP Finance and Accounting. In this role, the individual will lead and contribute to the design, implementation, enhancement, and support of SAP Finance and Accounting solutions that enable critical business processes across the organisation.
The role requires a strong ability to drive business and technology change, challenge the status quo, and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and user experience. Working closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and senior leaders, the analyst will evaluate business needs, design and implement solutions, and leverage AI, automation, data, and emerging technologies to deliver measurable business outcomes.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP Finance and Accounting solutions that support strategic business objectives.
- Lead and influence process and technology change across Finance and Accounting, challenging the status quo and identifying opportunities for simplification, standardization, automation, and improved user experience.
- Configure, test, document, and support SAP Finance and Accounting functionality in accordance with business and IT standards.
- Participate in and, where appropriate, lead SAP implementation, enhancement, upgrade, transformation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, technical teams, developers, integration teams, and third-party vendors to drive solutions from concept through adoption.
- Identify and evaluate opportunities to apply AI, intelligent automation, and emerging technologies to finance processes and enterprise applications.
- Translate AI and automation capabilities into practical business solutions that improve productivity, controls, decision-making, and operational efficiency.
- Perform functional testing and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), ensuring solutions meet business needs and are successfully adopted.
- Provide production support, troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and drive permanent corrective actions.
- Champion adoption of new capabilities, processes, and technologies by effectively communicating the value of change and partnering with stakeholders through implementation.
- Ensure compliance with governance, security, architecture, and change management processes.
- Support integration between SAP Finance/Accounting and related enterprise applications.
- Lead or contribute significantly to SAP Finance and Accounting transformation initiatives and continuous improvement programs.
- Drive business process analysis and identify opportunities for standardization, automation, and simplification.
- Partner with Finance business leaders to prioritize opportunities based on business value, feasibility, risk, and strategic impact.
- Support and influence upgrades, testing cycles, production deployments, and adoption of new capabilities.
- Evaluate emerging technologies, including AI and intelligent automation, and identify use cases that can deliver measurable value to Finance.
- Work with cross-functional teams to implement business requirements and drive sustainable adoption of new processes and solutions.
- Contribute to knowledge sharing, best practices, and capability development within the ERP team.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field, or equivalent experience (required)
- 8+ years of hands-on experience with SAP Finance and Accounting in an enterprise environment (required)
- Strong expertise with SAP S/4HANA or SAP ECC Finance and Accounting modules (GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Controlling, Treasury, Consolidation) (required)
- Practical experience gathering business requirements and translating them into scalable functional solutions (required)
- Demonstrated ability to drive change across business and technology organizations, influence stakeholders, and lead initiatives from concept through implementation and adoption (required)
- Demonstrated ability to identify and implement opportunities for process transformation, automation, and operational improvement (required)
- Experience leveraging AI, intelligent automation, analytics, or emerging technologies to improve business processes and deliver measurable business outcomes (required)
- Knowledge of SAP configuration, testing, integration, and change management (required)
- Familiarity with Vertex, BlackLine, Concur, Kyriba, Agentic AP, or similar finance applications (preferred)
- Strong business partnering, communication, influencing, and change management skills (required)
- Strong analytical thinking, initiative, problem-solving, and ability to work effectively in a complex enterprise environment (required)
- SAP certification (nice-to-have)
- Estimated starting compensation range of $100,000–$120,000 annually USD
