Responsibilities
  • Establish and lead the Game Integrity & Operational Assurance function, developing its frameworks, governance processes and control standards.
  • Monitor game and platform activity to identify integrity concerns, operational risks and control weaknesses.
  • Lead investigations into game defects, operational incidents and unusual player or transactional activity, delivering root-cause analysis, corrective actions and continuous improvements.
  • Own the framework for monitoring, validating and investigating significant wins and unusual payouts.
  • Lead investigations into large wins, jackpots, promotional abuse, fraud, collusion and player exploitation.
  • Define investigation standards, escalation pathways and service-level expectations.
  • Coordinate reviews across Operations, Product, Development, Compliance and external suppliers.
  • Support operator, customer and regulatory enquiries relating to significant wins and integrity events.
  • Define and maintain key risk indicators, operational risk metrics and monitoring methodologies covering RTP variance, payout anomalies, game configuration issues, fraud, promotional abuse and operational failures.
  • Set the data strategy and requirements for dashboards, monitoring systems and investigation tools.
  • Drive automation, predictive monitoring, anomaly detection and AI-enabled risk identification.
  • Partner with Data Engineering, Product and Development to implement intelligent monitoring solutions and produce actionable insights.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and analytical techniques to strengthen detection, reduce false positives and enable proactive risk management.
  • Ensure operational assurance processes meet regulatory obligations and internal control requirements.
  • Support regulatory reporting, audits, supplier reviews and external assessments, while maintaining awareness of evolving expectations across jurisdictions.
  • Build and evolve the function, initially as an individual contributor, while creating a roadmap for future team growth.
  • Establish operational standards, governance frameworks and success measures.
  • Promote accountability, operational excellence and risk awareness across the organization.
Requirements
  • Significant experience in operational risk, fraud management, investigations, operational assurance, compliance or a related discipline (required)
  • Proven ability to lead complex investigations, conduct root-cause analysis and implement effective corrective actions (required)
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience interpreting large datasets, identifying trends and translating insights into practical solutions (required)

  • Advanced proficiency in SQL, Power BI, Tableau or equivalent analytical tools (required)
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate business needs into operational and technical requirements (required)
  • Proven success in building new functions, capabilities or processes (required)
  • Experience in online gaming, casino operations, gaming compliance, fraud analytics or another regulated technology environment (preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of casino game mechanics, RTP, volatility and player behaviour (preferred)
  • Experience conducting game integrity reviews and investigating large wins, unusual payouts and fraud (preferred)
