Copywriter
The Copywriter role focuses on creating engaging marketing content within the sports betting industry. This requires a deep understanding of sports mechanics, betting lines, and user communication strategies.
The successful candidate will work in a fast-growing environment, collaborating with marketers, designers, and project managers to deliver high-quality content that adheres to internal guidelines and brand tone of voice.
- Writing marketing texts for sports themes including newsletters, push notifications, landing pages, and CRM communications.
- Following recommendations from proofreaders, marketers, and regional managers when refining texts.
- Adhering to internal guidelines, editorial policies, and content requirements.
- Interacting with project managers, Retention Marketing Managers, and related departments.
- Analysing competitor content.
- Working according to approved templates for sports promotional activities such as tournaments and free bets, while meeting deadlines.
- Experience in writing texts for the betting industry (required).
- Excellent knowledge of the betting niche, including sports rules, betting lines, odds, and types of bets (required).
- Experience in writing user communications such as email newsletters, push notifications, SMS, and promotional materials (required).
- Native Russian language skills with absolute literacy and a lively writing style (required).
- English language proficiency at B2 level for writing, research, and system navigation (required).
- Basic understanding of the mentality, cultural, and linguistic features of Russia and Central Asia (required).
- Teamwork skills and ability to interact with marketers and designers (required).
- Responsibility for final results, attention to detail, and project engagement (required).
- Ability to work with large volumes of information and structure it effectively (required).
- Knowledge of Kazakh and/or Kyrgyz language at least at a level sufficient for integrating local phrases (nice-to-have).
- Successful experience working with the Central Asian audience (required).
- Experience with Jira or other task trackers and ability to work with spreadsheets (required).
