Process Automation Engineer
Pin-Up Global is seeking a Process Automation Engineer. This role involves designing, building, and maintaining internal automation tools and solutions, providing automation as a service to internal teams. The engineer will analyze business and technical processes to identify automation opportunities with measurable impact, and design scalable and reliable automation architectures.
The role requires developing and supporting automated workflows using no/low-code platforms and custom code, as well as building internal software and tooling solutions for teams, owning the full lifecycle from idea to support. The engineer will apply AI-assisted and AI-driven approaches to accelerate development and improve solution quality, collaborating closely with various teams to design solutions that fit operational needs.
Additionally, the Process Automation Engineer will act as a technical and process consultant, ensuring automation solutions are properly documented, observable, and supportable. Continuous improvement of existing automations and internal tools, establishing and evolving standards for internal automation and AI-assisted development, and driving adoption of automation solutions across teams are also key aspects of this position.

- Design scalable and reliable automation architectures, ensuring performance, fault tolerance, maintainability, and ease of extension.
- Develop and support automated workflows using no/low-code platforms (e.g. n8n, Make) and custom code where required.
- Build internal software and tooling solutions for teams, owning the full lifecycle from idea and requirements to implementation, rollout, and support.
- Apply AI-assisted and AI-driven approaches (e.g. LLMs, AI coding tools, automation with AI agents) to accelerate development and improve solution quality.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, product, operations, and business teams to design solutions that fit real operational needs.
- Act as a technical and process consultant for teams, advising on automation design, best practices, and optimal tool usage.
- Ensure automation solutions are properly documented, observable, and supportable, including monitoring, logging, and failure handling.
- Continuously improve existing automations and internal tools based on feedback, usage data, and changing business requirements.
- Establish and evolve standards, guidelines, and best practices for internal automation and AI-assisted development.
- Drive adoption of automation solutions across teams, supporting onboarding, knowledge sharing, and change management.
- 2+ years of experience in process management, operations, project or product management within a technology-driven or fast-paced environment (required)
- Proven track record in process design, implementation, and optimization across cross-functional teams (required)
- Strong understanding of the IT product lifecycle, from idea and discovery to implementation, release, and iteration (required)
- Solid understanding of technical fundamentals, including system architecture basics, databases, data models, integrations, APIs, and system dependencies (required)
- Experience working closely with engineering, product, QA, operations, and business stakeholders (required)
- Hands-on experience with change management and organizational or operational transformation initiatives (required)
- Practical experience with process automation, including no/low-code tools (e.g. n8n, Make) and/or scripting or custom code (required)
- Strong knowledge of at least one process or delivery methodology (Agile, Kanban, Lean, BPMN); ability to apply frameworks pragmatically rather than dogmatically (required)
- Data-driven mindset with experience defining KPIs, tracking performance, and using insights to drive decisions (required)
- High level of autonomy and ownership: ability to independently identify problems, remove blockers, research solutions, and learn new tools or technologies (required)
- Strong appreciation for documentation, with a structured approach to creating, maintaining, and evolving process and system documentation (required)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, able to clearly explain the purpose and impact of process or product changes (required)
- Good English proficiency (written and spoken), sufficient for professional communication and documentation (required)
- Practical experience using Cursor or other AI-assisted development environments (required)
- Presence of implemented solutions or projects (automations, internal tools, integrations, process improvements, prototypes, or production systems) (required)
- Experience applying AI-driven solutions to improve, automate, or optimize business or technical processes (required)
- Background in iGaming, fintech, or other complex, high-load IT environments (required)
