Sportsbook Operations Administrator
Description
The Sportsbook Operations Administrator is responsible for performing operational tasks. These include event creation and resulting, review and resolution of internal and external product-related requests, and overall monitoring and improvement of the automated operational setup.
Responsibilities
- Set up manual events and create mappings for automated event creation.
- Monitor and update event start times to ensure accurate offerings.
- Result events and monitor automated resulting.
- Clone and replicate events for offering additional markets on events.
- Monitor internal requests for additional markets resulting or market creation.
- Support customer support team on requests regarding market results, market availability, and general sportsbook questions.
- Acknowledge, resolve or escalate requests from business partners in a timely manner.
- Monitor automated alerts related to resulting and event creation.
- Cancel pending wagers in case when balances of customers become negative due to regrades.
- Permanently review outstanding unresulted markets to ensure that all markets are settled.
- Report tool inefficiencies and other issues with the existing tooling available.
- Update and maintain mapping of external data sources, such as league and team names.
- Monitor media for Esports news.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Sports Management, Statistics, or a related field (preferred)
- Good knowledge of Sports and Esports (required)
- Familiarity with Sportsbook Markets (required)
- Previous experience in a sportsbook, betting, or gaming environment (preferred)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (required)
- Quick self-learner (required)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy (required)
- Availability to work afternoon and night shift (required)
- Ability to plan, organise and manage multiple tasks simultaneously (required)
- Accurate and fast typing skills (required)
- Ability to search and investigate different sports and events online (required)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities (required)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills (required)
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment (required)
- Strong proficiency in English, both written and verbal (required)
