Senior Render Programmer
The company is building visually engaging games and is looking for a talented Senior or Intermediate Programmer to join a small, new department. This role offers the opportunity to control every aspect of the development process within a focused team environment, backed by industry-leading experts.
The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing high-quality visual features, including shaders, animations, and visual effects. The role requires a strong technical mindset to provide solutions that achieve specific visual goals while collaborating closely with artists to ensure the final product meets high aesthetic standards.
- Discuss, clarify and understand the requested product.
- Write the code needed to implement the required product.
- When needed, be in touch with external teams and team members (artists, designers, directors and managers).
- Communicate, work with and help your colleagues.
- Provide support for previous projects, when needed.
- Implement the required visual features (write shaders, implement animations, visual effects, etc.).
- Provide technical solutions to obtaining the desired visual result.
- Work together with the artists to implement and obtain the expected visual quality.
- Polish until everything looks awesome: it needs to sparkle like Las Vegas!
- Know at least one of the following programming languages: C++, C#, Java, Javascript (required)
- Have a programmer mindset (logical skills; problem-solving, solution-finding: find specific solutions for specific problems, instead of using general approaches) (required)
- Work as part of an extended team (teamwork and team player) (required)
- 6 Years + experience needed (required)
- C# knowledge is a plus (preferred)
- Quality-oriented mindset (required)
- English language is needed, as it is used in all external communication (required)
- Understanding masks, layering and how visuals mix together is a plus (preferred)
