Financial Auditor
The Financial Auditor will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, compliance, and integrity of accounting records through systematic examination and evaluation. This role involves assessing internal control systems, identifying risks, and providing actionable recommendations to improve financial processes. The auditor will play a key role in maintaining financial transparency and supporting the organisation's internal audit functions.
- Perform audits of financial transactions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and integrity of accounting records.
- Examine invoices, contracts, procedures, and other relevant documents to assess financial activity.
- Evaluate internal control systems, detect risks, and recommend improvements.
- Identify potential fraud or irregularities and investigate discrepancies.
- Prepare clear, well-structured audit reports that outline findings, risks, and actionable recommendations.
- Follow up on previously identified issues to ensure the implementation of corrective actions.
- Participate in the planning and execution of audit activities in accordance with internal procedures and audit standards.
- Maintain effective communication with auditees and collaborate with team members during audit engagements.
- Assist in knowledge sharing and contribute to team development.
- Carry out other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor that align with the job description and comply with the labor code.
- Higher education in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required).
- At least 1–2 years of relevant experience in audit or financial analysis (required).
- Knowledge of generally accepted auditing standards and risk assessment practices (required).
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting (required).
- Ability to review and analyze financial data from multiple sources (required).
- Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software (e.g., ArmSoft) (required).
- Familiarity with tax and labor legislation (required).
- Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities (required).
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy (required).
- Good organizational and time management skills (required).
- Effective communication and teamwork skills (required).
- Fluency in Armenian; good knowledge of English and Russian, both written and verbal (required).
