Product Manager

Description

Sportradar is seeking a Product Manager to join the Odds services division, specifically focusing on the eSports vertical. The role involves owning the integration of eSports content suppliers into the Sportradar ecosystem and managing the redistribution of this content to global bookmaker clients.

The Product Manager will oversee the product lifecycle from definition through to build, market enablement, launch, and scale. This position requires navigating a complex service architecture that spans multiple teams and units, necessitating close collaboration with engineering to design and implement integration solutions. The individual will be accountable for the end product's success, requiring strong stakeholder management and the ability to influence cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities
  • Own the eSports odds product roadmap end-to-end, from definition through build, launch, and scale.
  • Work closely with engineering to design and implement integrations with eSports content suppliers.
  • Write clear specs and work iteratively with the team to ship reliable eSports odds functionality.
  • Use data and direct client conversations to understand how bookmakers and bettors engage with eSports markets, and translate that into product decisions.
  • Proactively pull in other teams, escalate risks early, and stay accountable for outcomes without full control over delivery.
  • Communicate and influence stakeholders across engineering, trading, sales, and supplier partners.
  • Facilitate product workshops and drive alignment across cross-functional, multi-supplier teams.
Requirements
  • An eSports specialist, genuinely engaged with the eSports scene, its titles, and its competitive landscape (required).
  • Excellent communicator, written and verbal, able to adapt tone and detail for audiences ranging from engineers to senior stakeholders (required).
  • Experience working on eSports-related products, such as odds, data, or streaming (required).
  • Comfortable getting up to speed with a complex, multi-team service architecture, and working closely with engineering (required).
  • Experience operating effectively in a multi-matrixed organisation, where influence often matters more than direct authority (required).
  • Comfortable owning outcomes end-to-end without full control over delivery, pulling in other units, escalating early, and following through (required).
  • Ability to facilitate and align cross-functional stakeholders (required).
  • Comfortable using both quantitative and qualitative data to make decisions (required).
  • Experience with agile development and delivery methodologies (required).
  • Unafraid to constructively challenge the status quo (required).
