Group Finance Systems Manager
The Group Finance Systems Manager will act as the Group's dedicated owner of its core financial systems. This role serves as the functional bridge between regional markets, Central Finance, and the Business Applications (BA) ERP team, managing the intake, vetting, and prioritisation of ERP change requests. - Establish a structured intake and evaluation workflow for ERP customisation and upgrade requests from regional finance teams.
- Translate operational finance challenges from local markets into clear, functional technical requirements for the Business Applications (BA) tech team.
- Own the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) process for new finance features, ensuring no deployment disrupts month-end closing timelines.
- Partner with local markets and tech teams to enforce compliance with mandatory local regulations, aligning ERP functionalities with global solutions such as Exflow for e-invoicing rollouts and specialised tax localisations.
- Provide systems-side support and technical guardrails for vendor data onboarding workflows, working closely with the dedicated VMD team to optimise data hygiene without duplicating effort.
- Oversee ITAC controls, role profiles, and segregation of duties (SoD) across all financial solutions.
- Collaborate with FP&A and Data Engineering teams to ensure clean data write-backs from ERP sub-ledgers into the central data lakehouse.
- Support foundational data readiness for the upcoming Group EPM implementation.
- Develop and maintain key operational finance dashboards and control reports using Power BI.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience managing and optimising Microsoft Dynamics (Business Central and/or D365 FinOps) within a complex, multi-currency corporate environment (required).
- Strong grounding in core accounting principles (GAAP vs statutory) and month-end closing processes (required).
- Proven track record working as a bridge between technical software teams and non-technical business accountants (required).
- Ability to confidently manage conflicting priorities from various country managers and local Finance Directors (required).
- Advanced proficiency in Power BI reporting and ERP workflow configurations (required).
- Exceptional English verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical architecture for finance leaders (required).
