EUC Analyst

Description

The End User Computing team delivers second-line support, supporting users in person and remotely. The team is responsible for issuing, replacing, and recovering equipment from colleagues and is the first point of contact when something goes wrong at their site. The team will work alongside colleagues in Asset Management and 3rd Line Support. The team also supports projects, ensuring all users can access the support they require as they need it.

Being the single point of contact and acting as a true Technical Advisor, offering first and second-line technical support which includes managing software licenses, software and hardware troubleshooting for PCs, MAC's and USB/LAN Printers, deploying new workstations or replacing faulty devices. As an EUC Analyst, the individual will be accountable for all corporate computing activities across their location. They will work as part of the local team of EUC Analysts, working with them to support colleagues on-site and in the ever-increasing remote working environment. As an EUC Analyst, they will be the go-to person for all issues on site.

Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot network on the software and hardware side.
  • Work closely with the EUC Manager and Service Desk Manager to agree and implement consistent policies, process and procedures to support the employee base.
  • Work closely with local office administration to setup a world-class workable environment for employees.
  • Ensure that all employees have the right hardware and tools to perform their jobs.
  • Ensure business continuity at the site.
  • Drive best practice and continually looking at smarter, modern approaches to supporting a hybrid workforce in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ensure KPIs and Customer Satisfaction metrics are met.
Requirements
  • Experience of working in an EUC team (required)
  • Expert knowledge of EUC process and approaches (required)
  • Have an automation mindset and be looking for ways to improve processes (required)
  • Technical understanding of Microsoft, Mac OS, networking and infrastructure technologies (required)
  • Active Directory, Exchange Server, Fileserver, VMWare, JAMF/Casper, Juniper/VPN, Microsoft Team Foundation, SCCM, DNS, DHCP, Office 365 (required)
