Sports Scheduling Planner
Genius Sports is looking for a Sports Scheduling Planner to join its central operations team. This role is responsible for scheduling and planning daily workflows for teams, ensuring that the business operates smoothly and efficiently. The position requires a combination of good planning and organisational skills, with a focus on content distribution, work schedule optimisation, hours distribution, and database compilation.
The Sports Scheduling Planner will work closely with all relevant teams involved in the company's products. The role is based in Sofia, Bulgaria.
- Manage long-term shift planning aligned with monthly content and coverage requirements.
- Monitor and align vacation requests against operational needs and targets.
- Process and maintain accurate records of sick leave and other absences.
- Schedule and track training activities to meet predefined staffing and coverage goals.
- Analyse and monitor monthly transferred content to support operational insights.
- Collect, verify, and consolidate data for the Workforce Team’s monthly reporting.
- Strong command of English, both written and spoken (required).
- Confident using MS Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint (required).
- Clear, effective communicator across teams and stakeholders (required).
- Flexible and responsive to shifting priorities and schedules (required).
- High accuracy in scheduling, reporting, and data handling (required).
- Comfortable working as both a team player and an independent worker (required).
