Prod/Master Scheduler III
The Prod/Master Scheduler III role involves working collaboratively with the Senior Team Scheduler, Sales Support, Resource Managers, and Project Managers to ensure all projects are staffed appropriately based on skill levels and licensing requirements. The position focuses on maintaining project baselines, monitoring utilization and allocation metrics, and managing the change request process for resource requests.
This role is responsible for providing management with a portfolio management view into strategic scheduling and assisting with regional reporting as needed. The scheduler also plays a key part in providing training for new functionality with operational tools, managing the resource skills database, and identifying ways to improve tactical scheduling processes to alleviate rescheduling churn.
- Work collaboratively with Senior Team Scheduler, Sales Support, Resource Managers and PM's to ensure all projects are staffed through skills level and resources are appropriately licensed.
- Anticipate licensing needs for upcoming projects.
- Provide training for new functionality with Operational tools.
- Ensure projects are properly base lined.
- Monitor utilization/allocation metrics.
- Work with Resource Managers to plan training.
- Manage Change Request process for Resource requests.
- Provide Management a Portfolio Management view into strategic scheduling.
- Manage Resource Skills database and support skill leveling with scheduling.
- Assist with Regional Reporting as needed.
- Help alleviate churn of rescheduling and find ways to improve tactical scheduling.
