Financial Manager
Pin-Up Global is seeking a Financial Manager to join its team. This role involves managing financial reporting, ensuring the accuracy of key financial statements, and overseeing reconciliation processes across multiple legal entities. The successful candidate will work closely with various departments to maintain consistent financial data and drive process improvements.
The Financial Manager will be responsible for developing a deep understanding of the business model, including transaction flows and revenue streams. The role requires a proactive approach to identifying financial risks and implementing effective controls. After an initial onboarding period, the individual will independently manage assigned responsibilities and resolve complex financial issues.
- Prepare and maintain management reporting, including P&L, Cash Flow, and Balance Sheet, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timely delivery.
- Coordinate and control financial reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and ensure that outstanding items are resolved on time.
- Work with financial models in Excel: understand existing models, review their logic, make necessary adjustments and extensions, and build financial models from scratch.
- Understand and manage invoicing processes, including both external client invoicing and intercompany invoicing within the holding structure.
- Ensure proper reconciliation of intercompany transactions and balances across multiple legal entities.
- Perform detailed financial analysis, identify inconsistencies, unusual movements, missing controls, and potential financial or operational risks.
- Take a proactive approach to financial processes: go beyond standard reporting, investigate issues in depth, challenge existing processes, and introduce additional checks and controls where needed.
- Work closely with accounting, treasury, operations, commercial, and other finance teams to ensure consistent financial data across the business.
- Independently own assigned areas of responsibility, manage priorities, and drive issues to resolution with limited supervision.
- Develop a strong understanding of the company’s business model, transaction flows, revenue streams, payment infrastructure, and key financial drivers.
- Understand the specifics of the fintech and payments industry, including payment processing, acquiring, settlements, commissions, transaction flows, and related financial operations.
- Work with cryptocurrency and blockchain-related financial flows, including stablecoins, crypto wallets, exchanges, on-chain transactions, network fees, and crypto-to-fiat settlement processes.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and other ad hoc financial analysis when required.
- Maintain a high level of ownership, attention to detail, and financial discipline.
- Proficiency with Excel (required)
- FinTech financial experience (preferred)
- PowerBi (nice-to-have)
- Ukrainian/Russian – fluent (required)
