SMM Project Manager
Pin-Up Global is seeking an SMM Project Manager to oversee complex projects and improve operational workflows within the community and social media management teams. The SMM Project Manager will act as a primary coordination point between various departments, including Community, Support, Product, Content, Design, and Retention teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the team backlog, facilitating sprint planning, and ensuring that all projects are delivered according to defined objectives and deadlines.
- Build, document, and continuously improve the operating model of the Community Team.
- Maintain and prioritise the team backlog, facilitate sprint planning, and ensure realistic scope based on team capacity and velocity.
- Transform unstructured requests into clear projects with defined objectives, deliverables, owners, deadlines, dependencies, and acceptance criteria.
- Serve as the primary coordination point between Community, Support, Product/Domain, SMM, Content, Design, Retention, and regional teams.
- Gather requirements, align expectations, provide status updates, and ensure that stakeholders receive clear delivery commitments.
- Monitor team capacity, identify overload or underutilization, and coordinate workload adjustments with the Community Team Lead.
- Track deadlines, statuses, risks, blockers, and dependencies; escalate critical issues and ensure timely resolution.
- Assess incoming urgent requests based on business impact, revise sprint priorities when necessary, and communicate trade-offs to stakeholders.
- Ensure that Community tasks are correctly created, structured, assigned, linked, updated, and reported in Jira.
- Create and maintain task templates, request intake rules, SLAs, workflows, responsibility matrices, and operating procedures.
- Coordinate engagement campaigns, Telegram community initiatives, ambassador programs, contests, and other audience engagement and retention activities.
- Establish transparent reporting on delivery, workload, bottlenecks, and Community initiatives together with the Team Lead and relevant analytics teams.
- Regularly review workflows, identify bottlenecks, propose improvements, and document measurable "before and after" results.
- Maintain up-to-date process documentation and ensure that the team can consistently follow agreed workflows.
- Support onboarding into Community processes, Jira workflows, communication standards, and cross-functional ways of working.
- 3+ years of experience in Project Management or proven experience independently managing complex projects at a strong Middle/Senior level (required).
- Strong experience in setting up and improving operational workflows, task intake, prioritisation, and cross-functional delivery (required).

- Strong documentation skills, including workflows, SLAs, task templates, responsibility matrices, and operating procedures (required).
- Ability to establish transparent reporting and validate completed work through measurable results and supporting evidence (required).

- Experience in Community Management, SMM, Retention, CRM, digital marketing, or another audience-focused function (required).

- Experience introducing process automation and integrating task-management, analytics, and communication tools (required).
- Experience working with Tableau or other reporting and analytics platforms (required).
- Ownership: Ability to take full responsibility for delivery, from receiving an initial request to validating the final result (required).
- Proactivity: Ability to identify problems early and propose two or three actionable solutions instead of escalating questions without recommendations (required).
