We’re looking for a Senior Director – Group Finance to join Better Collective and help us strengthen and scale our global finance organization during an important phase of organizational evolution and growth. As the Senior Director – Group Finance, you will lead a substantial and geographically diverse organization, overseeing a total team of +50 employees. This leadership role involves directly managing 6-7 direct reports, where you will manage managers and cross-border teams within an international environment. You will be responsible for developing this function while driving financial excellence, process optimization, and operational scalability across the global finance organization. You will report to SVP Finance & Global Shared Services, and in this role, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional and international stakeholders while driving financial excellence, operational scalability, and process optimization across the business. You will play a key role in supporting Better Collective’s continued global expansion and acquisition activity. This role is based in Copenhagen and requires a strong strategic leader with experience managing global and remote teams across multiple regions.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop the Group Finance function, managing managers and cross-border teams in an international environment
  • Take responsibility for the operational execution and strategic development of Financial Shared Services, focusing on global standardization and ensuring best-in-class operational scalability
  • Focus on Comprehensive & Strategic Reporting, where you will own and oversee all internal and external reporting functions, ensuring timely, accurate, and high-quality financial, operational, and data is delivered to support senior leadership in strategic decision-making and legal compliance
  • Drive process development, standardization, and optimization across finance operations and reporting structures
  • Support and navigate organizational transformation and restructuring initiatives within a growing global business
  • Contribute to M&A activities, integrations, and post-acquisition finance processes
  • Oversee and collaborate on areas including budgeting & forecasting, financial reporting, financial controlling, treasury & cash management, tax & transfer pricing, and risk management
  • Partner with senior leadership and key stakeholders across the organization to improve financial decision-making and operational efficiency
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a senior/strategic finance leadership role
  • Strong leadership capabilities with experience managing managers and remote/international teams
  • Experience navigating companies through organizational restructuring and transformation phases
  • Digital/media/tech organizations experience and/or gambling/betting organizations
  • Experience across venture-backed companies, SMEs, and publicly listed organizations
  • Strong exposure to high-volume acquisition environments and active participation in M&A processes
  • Exceptional expertise in process development, optimization, and operational scalability
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills in international environments
  • Experience within fast-paced, international, or digital/media/tech organizations
