Junior Finance Operations Analyst

Description

The job focuses on generating, reconciling and analyzing invoices to clients and providing accurate estimation of costs for our greatest product.

The role involves evaluating and analysing information in the EveryMatrix platform gathered from various sources, reconciling and resolving any un-reconciled items. It also ensures correct/reliable data and investigates any discrepancy in the systems.

Responsibilities include translating costs into the B2B invoicing model, running the custom build forecasting model and actively participating in testing and improving it. Evaluating and analysing cost components information and comparing it with data gathered from various sources, such as suppliers back-office data, is also key. Communication with project stakeholders, including other Finance Team members, Account Managers, and Developers, is permanent.

Further duties involve answering queries and providing custom reports regarding data found in the systems, creating ad hoc reports for authorities and different stakeholders, and locating and defining new process improvement opportunities. The role requires being an active part of the finance team.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics (required).
  • Starting from 1 year of experience in a similar role (or a relevant position in a related field) (required).
  • Experience in working with various reporting systems (required).
  • Experience in data reconciliation between multiple sources would be a plus (preferred).
  • Experience in working closely with developers and requesting fixes and features would be a plus (preferred).
  • Ability to work independently and build periodic reports and updates based on self activity (required).
  • Strong MS Excel skills (required).
  • Above average conversational and written English (required).
  • Excellent attention to detail (required).
  • Problem solving skills (required).
  • Analytic mind and critical thinking skills (required).
  • Detail oriented and inquisitive (required).
