Strong Middle BI/DB Developer
EveryMatrix is looking for a passionate and dedicated Strong Middle BI/DB Developer to join the team in Lviv. The role focuses on developing real-time data processing and aggregation pipelines, as well as creating and modifying data marts to enhance the data warehouse.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing internal and external integrations while designing and delivering various types of reports. The role involves working with a technical stack that includes Google BigQuery, PostgreSQL, Apache Airflow, Apache NiFi, and Apache Kafka.
- Develop real-time data processing and aggregation pipelines.
- Create and modify data marts to enhance the data warehouse.
- Manage internal and external integrations.
- Design and deliver various types of reports.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a STEM field (required).
- Solid understanding of Computer Science fundamentals: Software Engineering, Algorithms, Operating Systems, Networking, etc (required).
- Strong knowledge of at least one RDBMS (Google BigQuery, PostgreSQL, MSSQL, Oracle, MySQL), including query optimization, indexing strategies, and partitioning (required).
- Practical experience with ETL/ELT processes (required).
- Experience in creating or supporting Data Warehouses (required).
- Hands-on experience with at least one enterprise Business Intelligence platform (required).
- English: Intermediate+ (reading, writing, speaking) (required).
- Knowledge of analytical data warehouse systems (Google BigQuery, Azure Synapse Analytics, AWS Redshift, Snowflake) (nice-to-have).
- Programming skills in one language (Python or Java) (nice-to-have).
- Experience with additional tools and systems such as Apache Airflow and Apache NiFi (nice-to-have).
- Start with 22 days of annual leave, with 2 additional days added each year, up to 32 days by your fifth year.
